For manuscripts without images, we recommend sharing your Google Doc directly with us. For books containing images, please upload all your manuscript files and high-resolution image files into a single Google Drive folder and share the link with us. Yes, we can! If your book is designed in Canva, please share your Canva link with us. We will review the file and provide a custom quote for converting and professionally formatting it into print-ready and/or eBook files.
What if I want to change my book dimensions (trim size) later? Changing the book dimensions (trim size) after formatting has begun means we have to readjust the entire book's pagination and layout. While we can accommodate this, it will incur an additional fee. We will provide a custom quote based on the complexity of your book, starting from a base price of $100.
For clarity and to avoid any confusion, please copy and paste your images directly into your manuscript where you intend them to appear. Additionally, please provide all high-resolution image files separately. This dual approach ensures we understand your exact placement intentions while having the quality files needed for professional output.
For your convenience, we utilize Adobe's commenting features. We will provide you with an Adobe link to your formatted draft. You can simply mark your requested edits and comments directly within the document, and we will review and implement the revisions for you. This streamlined process ensures clarity and efficiency.
We pride ourselves on efficiency. Once we receive your consolidated feedback, we aim to complete and deliver your revised draft within 1 business day for small revisions. For more complex updates, it may take 3-5 business days, but we always strive to make it as quick as possible.
During the included revision rounds, minor typographical errors that were present in the original submitted manuscript are generally covered. However, if extensive new typos are introduced, or if the number of typo corrections becomes excessive outside the scope of minor revisions, each additional typo correction may be charged at $1 per edit, with a minimum charge of $10. We highly recommend a final proofread of your manuscript before submission to minimize these.
The three revision rounds are designed to keep things fair and efficient for both parties. If your request for changes goes beyond the scope of our agreement or the included rounds, there will be an additional fee. This fee will be a minimum of $15, depending on how extensive the edit is and the time required to implement it. We will always provide a clear quote for any additional work before proceeding.
We understand that sometimes major content revisions are necessary even after formatting is complete. If you need to start fresh with a significantly revised manuscript, you can make all the changes to your original Google Doc or Word file and send us the new, updated file. We will then provide you with a 20% discount on the original formatting cost to restart the work, acknowledging your prior investment and the need for a fresh start.
