The two tiers above it are drawn by hand. We always disclose AI usage in the deliverables, because some retailers and award programmes have their own stance on it and that is your decision to make with the facts.

How do you match me with an illustrator?
We review your book's genre, target audience, and your vision, then match you with an artist whose style aligns with your needs. You'll see portfolio samples before committing.
What is the difference between the AI-assisted tier and the hand-drawn tiers?
AI-Assisted Story (£497) uses AI-assisted illustration with a seed-image lock to hold character consistency, then human art direction and revision rounds on top — it is the fastest and cheapest route and we label it plainly so you can decide whether to disclose it to retailers. Hand-Drawn Classic (£1,497) and Premium Deluxe (£2,997) are drawn by hand by a single illustrator across the whole book.
What illustration styles do you offer?
A wide range including watercolour, digital, cartoon, realistic, manga and whimsical. If you have reference images or a specific style in mind, share them and we'll match you with an illustrator who can achieve that look.
Do I get to review sketches before final artwork?
Yes. The process includes sketch approval phases. You'll see character sheets and rough compositions first, then colour, before we deliver final high-resolution artwork.
Who owns the illustration rights?
You receive full commercial rights to use the illustrations in your book and related marketing materials, on completion and final payment. The artist retains the right to showcase the work in their own portfolio.
How many revisions are included?
AI-Assisted Story includes 2 revision rounds, Hand-Drawn Classic includes 3, and Premium Deluxe includes unlimited revisions.
How long does illustration take?
AI-Assisted Story takes 3 weeks, Hand-Drawn Classic takes 4 weeks, and Premium Deluxe takes 6 weeks once the brief is agreed. The variable is sign-off speed at the character-sheet and sketch stages — every week of unapproved sketches adds a week to delivery — so complex projects may need longer, which we confirm before work starts.
What file formats do I receive?
High-resolution PNG, JPEG and PDF files. Layered source files (PSD/AI) are available on request for future modifications.
