Do I keep the rights and royalties to my book?
Yes. You keep 100% of your rights and 100% of your royalties. HMD Publishing is a professional publishing services partner, not a traditional publisher, so we never take ownership or a percentage of your book's earnings.
Is HMD Publishing a traditional publisher, a vanity press, or a self-publishing service?
HMD Publishing is a self-publishing services company. Unlike a traditional publisher, we don't acquire manuscripts or pay advances; unlike a vanity press, we don't require you to buy inflated print runs. You hire us for specific services — editing, design, formatting, distribution or marketing — and keep full ownership and control of your book.
