What does a ghostwriting package include?
Our ghostwriting services cover the agreed manuscript scope: project discovery, structural planning, writing up to the stated word limit, scheduled feedback checkpoints, revision work within the agreed brief and clean manuscript handover. Editing, formatting, cover design, publishing and marketing are separate services unless they are added to a written proposal.
Will I own the manuscript, and is the work confidential?
Rights, authorship credit, confidentiality and permitted disclosures are set out in the written project agreement before work begins. Review that agreement carefully and ask us to clarify any term before you approve the project; marketing copy does not replace the contract.
How long does book ghostwriting take?
The current package schedule runs from 4 weeks for the shortest scope to 12 weeks for the longest. The confirmed delivery plan also depends on project complexity, research and how quickly feedback is returned at each checkpoint.
How do you write in my voice?
Voice direction starts with your examples, reference authors, recorded or written source material and clear notes on what should not sound like you. Early feedback checkpoints are used to correct tone and phrasing before those choices repeat across the manuscript.
Which ghostwriting package should I choose?
Each package is built around a different kind of book. The Authority Book (up to 15,000 words) suits coaches, consultants, founders and speakers who need a short, credible book. The Full Story (up to 40,000 words) suits memoir, life story and full-length non-fiction. The Complete Novel (up to 70,000 words) suits fiction. If the structure, research burden or final length is still uncertain, send the project-fit brief so the team can confirm scope before checkout.
Is ghostwriting legal in the UK?
Yes. Ghostwriting is an ordinary commissioning arrangement: you engage a writer to produce work for you, and the written agreement sets out authorship credit, rights and confidentiality before drafting begins. Publishing under your own name is normal practice across business books, memoir and fiction. If you intend to publish on Amazon KDP, note that its content guidelines ask you to declare AI-GENERATED text — your manuscript is written by a person, and what you declare remains your decision as the publisher of record.
