Dianne coordinates client services and support at HMD Publishing, sitting between authors and the specialists doing the work. She tracks where each project has reached, chases the detail a department is waiting on, and makes sure a handover between editing, design and production does not leave the author wondering what happened. Coordination is what stops a joined-up team from behaving like separate suppliers.
