Meet Arlo and Dino, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a young explorer and his dinosaur friend through jungle and sunset scenes.

Arlo perches on Dino's head among oversized leaves, walks a butterfly-filled forest path beside him, paints at the foot of a waterfall while Dino watches, then leans against him to watch the sun set over a winding river. The palette moves from deep jungle green to warm gold. The supporting sheets give both characters their own turnarounds, twelve expressions for Arlo, leaf-clothing variations and a six-panel day-long storyboard.
