Meet Elodie, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a curious girl from a forest picnic to a firefly-lit lantern walk at dusk.
Elodie stands by a sunlit stream holding a small white bloom, reads on a checked picnic blanket beside a teddy-bear basket, launches a paper boat from a mossy bank and raises a lantern as fireflies gather at dusk. Golden light through deep green woodland carries all four finished scenes. Her design sheet adds four turnarounds, eight expressions, six action poses, six outfits, companion vignettes and a row of treasured props, while the pencil sheet follows a bow-haired young explorer and her rabbit through a six-panel storyboard toward a hidden stream.
