Meet Lila, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a night fairy through fireflies, moonlit ponds and a sky full of stars.

Lila sits on a daisy to greet a glowing firefly beneath a full moon, wades into a lily pond holding a jar of captured light, reads on a branch beside a small owl with a lantern hung nearby, then flies out over a moonlit valley towards a falling star. Deep violet and teal carry the whole set. The supporting sheets add her firefly companion Glowbug, eight expressions, six named dresses and a six-panel night storyboard.
