Meet Lily, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept about a quiet dreamer and her owl sharing small lights through a midnight-blue forest.
Lily stands among indigo leaves cupping a small glowing spark while Hoot the owl watches, releases a shining paper boat onto still water, writes in her journal by lantern light, and reaches for a golden butterfly in a bed of blue flowers. Deep midnight blues with small points of gold hold all four finished scenes. The supporting sheets add four turnarounds, eight expressions, five outfit variations, fawn and firefly-jar vignettes, a star map and feather pen, and a six-panel storyboard about sending tiny lights off with wishes.
