Meet Lily, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following an antlered forest fairy and her goose companion through mist, moonlight and rain.
Lily wanders a misty green wood holding an acorn while Birdie waddles behind, kneels on a mossy bank to touch sparkling water, reads her forest book on a hillside beneath a crescent moon, and dances barefoot on rain-dimpled water under sheltering leaves. Wild copper hair and a layered leaf dress carry her through every scene. The supporting sheets add four turnarounds, eight expressions, five dress variations, a Birdie companion turnaround, deer, fox and owlet friendships, woodland props and a six-panel storyboard about sharing a tiny light.
