Meet Lily, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a softly glowing winged fairy watched by woodland animals from dusk to sleep.

Lily dances on tiptoe in a dark wood while rabbits, a fox and wide-eyed owls watch from the shadows, reads at sunset above a winding valley river with a lantern glowing beside her, frees a small light over a lily pond, and sleeps curled on a broad leaf as tiny owls look on. Her faint glow and translucent wings light every scene. The supporting sheets add four turnarounds, eight expressions, five dress variations, a firefly companion turnaround, friendship vignettes and a six-panel storyboard about setting a tiny light free.
