Meet Lily, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a little dreamer through fireflies, lantern light and a paper boat on a stream.
Lily kneels to shelter a small candle while glowing butterflies drift around her, sets a paper boat onto a firefly-lit stream, reads on a fallen log beneath a hanging lantern, then stands by the river at sunset with a bunch of wildflowers. Deep forest green and lantern gold hold the set. The supporting sheets add a bunny turnaround, nine expressions, six outfits, her dog and rabbit, and a six-panel storyboard.
