Meet Lumi, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a red-caped lantern keeper through a firefly-lit night forest to a moonlit cottage.

Lumi walks a cobbled path in her red hooded cape, her lantern lighting white mushrooms, then pauses among red-capped toadstools as fireflies drift by, crosses a wooden bridge beneath a crescent moon and reaches an ivy-covered cottage glowing under the full moon. Deep indigo night and warm lantern gold hold the set. The supporting sheets add four turnarounds, nine expressions, six outfits, her rabbit, fawn and best friend, and a six-panel storyboard called The Little Light.
