Meet Maya, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a girl through journalling, card-making and quiet gratitude at home.

Maya writes at a sunny window desk stacked with encouraging books, cuts and folds heart cards at a craft table, rests her chin on her hands at a rainy window beside a lantern, then lists what she is grateful for under a starry night sky. Warm lamplight and hand-lettered notes appear throughout. The supporting sheets add Teddy, Luna the bunny and Starry the cat, twelve expressions, six outfits and a six-panel sequence.
