Meet Mira, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a girl and her puppy through lakeside reading, sketching, painting and a sunset picnic.

Mira lies on a wooden jetty reading while her puppy watches the water, sketches under a tree above rolling fields, paints at an easel on a hydrangea-lined path, then reads on a picnic blanket as the sun sets over the lake and the puppy sleeps beside her. Blue water and summer green run throughout. The supporting sheets cover her turnarounds, seven expressions, six outfits and a day-long storyboard.
