Explore a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a girl with a lantern and her rabbit through snowy woods, a village and a reading nook.

The girl walks a stone path between frosted trees with her lantern raised, kneels at a half-frozen stream where snowdrops grow, passes lit cottages in a snowbound village, then reads a large book by a window with the lantern still burning. Her red cape is the only strong colour against the snow. The supporting sheets add a turnaround for Hopper, twelve expressions, five outfits and a six-panel storyboard.
