Meet Zia, A Brave Heart, a hand-drawn children's book illustration concept following a young knight and her horse from forest glade to campfire.

Zia kneels beside Starlight in a flowering glade with a castle rising beyond the trees, rides the ridge line as the sun comes up over a river valley, sits by a campfire beneath a crescent moon, then grooms Starlight in the doorway of a sunlit stable. Teal and rose tack carries through every scene. The supporting sheets add a full turnaround for Starlight, nine expressions, five outfits, her dog Biscuit and a six-panel quest storyboard.
