Meet Zia, a hand-drawn watercolour picture book concept of bedtime stories, star cookies, garden evenings and firefly picnics with Grandma and the dog.

Zia snuggles into a bedtime story with Grandma while the dog naps on the quilt, stirs star-cookie dough at the kitchen table, waters sunset flowers in the garden, and shares a firefly picnic under the crescent moon with lantern, teddy and book. Loose watercolour washes keep everything soft. The supporting sheets add turnarounds, nine expressions, action poses with a telescope, five outfit variations, relationship panels and a six-panel storyboard about growing a flower to share with Grandma.
