About This Role
As a Book Marketing Expert, you'll help authors get their books in front of the right readers. From Amazon Advertising campaigns to BookBub promotions, email marketing to launch strategies, you'll leverage multiple channels to drive discoverability and sales.
You'll work with authors across genres, developing customized marketing plans that fit their goals and budgets. Whether it's optimizing ACoS on Amazon Ads or crafting compelling promotional copy, your expertise will directly impact authors' success.
This role is perfect for someone who loves data-driven marketing and gets excited about seeing books climb the charts.
What You'll Do
- Create and manage Amazon Advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display)
- Develop and execute BookBub and other promotional strategies
- Optimize campaigns based on performance data and ROI
- Write compelling ad copy and marketing materials
- Create launch strategies for new book releases
- Provide regular performance reports and recommendations
- Stay current with book marketing trends and platform changes
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience with Amazon Advertising for books
- Understanding of book marketing channels and strategies
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making
- Excellent copywriting abilities
- Experience with campaign optimization and A/B testing
- Knowledge of genre-specific marketing approaches
- Clear communication for client reporting
Nice to Have
- Experience with BookBub, Freebooksy, or similar promotion sites
- Social media advertising experience (Facebook, Instagram)
- Email marketing expertise
- Background in publishing or author marketing
