About This Role
We're looking for a driven Social Media Manager & Lead Generator to own our social presence and actively bring in new clients. At HMD Publishing, we've helped 10,000+ authors publish across 47 countries — and we need someone who can tell that story compellingly online and convert the right audience into paying customers.
Working hours are 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Pakistan Time), based on-site at our Islamabad office.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow HMD Publishing accounts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
- Create and schedule engaging content (posts, reels, stories, carousels) that showcases our services and client results
- Identify and reach out to potential clients through DMs, comments, and social prospecting
- Run lead generation campaigns to attract authors looking for publishing services
- Engage with followers, respond to enquiries, and nurture leads through to conversion
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, leads generated, conversions) and report weekly
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and promotions
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing social media accounts with measurable growth
- Strong copywriting skills — you can write captions that stop the scroll
- Experience with lead generation via social media (DMs, outreach, funnels)
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or similar)
- Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok algorithms
- Self-motivated with a sales mindset — you care about converting, not just posting
Nice to Have
- Experience in the publishing, creative, or author services industry
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe)
- Experience running paid social ads
- Familiarity with CRM or lead tracking tools
