As a Sales Representative at HMD Publishing, you'll be the first point of contact for authors exploring our services. You'll listen to their needs, explain how we can help, and guide them toward the right solutions for their publishing journey.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to inbound inquiries from potential authors
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand author needs and goals
  • Present appropriate service packages and solutions
  • Follow up with leads and nurture relationships
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation initiatives
  • Gather feedback to improve services and processes

What We're Looking For

  • Proven sales experience (consultative selling preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Empathetic listening and needs-assessment abilities
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and sales tools
  • Genuine interest in books and publishing

Nice to Have
